Project description - MacroNOW aims to overcome the imprecision, delay and discontinuity of key macroeconomic indicators (growth, inflation and unemployment), through the interpretation of new data sources and the exploitation of new technologies (Big Data), in order to supply more complete and reliable indicators in continuous time. In Macronow hat TerraNIS Methoden und Tools entwickelt, um Satellitenbilder massiv zu verarbeiten und Informationen zu extrahieren, um die von den anderen Projektpartnern entwickelten makroökonomischen Modelle zu speisen.
